Empowering Young People to Independence

About Us

Tamar Support Services Limited (TSS) offers semi-independent, supported and modern accommodation with floating/outreach in the community to young people aged between 16 to 25 years of age who are leaving care or aiming towards independence.

Our services are provided in accordance with the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and Children Acts 1989 and 2004 (and additionally, any relevant government and/or statutory regulations and guidance).

Our Mission Statement

To empower our young people to independence and self-sufficiency, preparing them with all the supports and assurance they need to lead healthy, valuable and fulfilled lives in our society.

Our Services

Empower

We aim to work effectively with young people and care leavers by empowering them to make holistic choice about their lives and also to enhance their confidence.

Support

We provide support to vulnerable young people and care leavers who require support with lifeskills, education, budgeting, social inclusion, health appointments, individual therapeutic support, 24-hour support, 1:1 packages of care.

Transition

We help young people transition to adulthood by supporting them with budgeting and life skills. This increases their ability to secure permanent housing and gain suitable employment.
